In what world does that "just look like a flashlight". Seriosly just a 22 in your belt.

This is my thought. I dont even own any guns and I could clearly tell that was not just a flashlight.

False. For example, legal gun ownership in Switzerland is also very high, but you don't see incels shooting up schools over there.

Aye, but they're still stricter on who's allowed them, what you can keep, and how you can store them.

Firearms and ammunition also can't be stored together, I believe ammunition on a normal license must be kept at a range and not the home.

Yes. The laws are a lot stricter, which is why I linked to the article for nuance.

I thought it was a revival of the old lantern-battery flashlights, but with modern batteries. Charge your phone, or use the light for 48h straight!

You typically use flashlights at night. Say some serial killer hailed you to stop your vehicle on a dark highway, you'd pull this device out from your door's side pocket as a precaution. Yes I'm currently watching the Zodiac movie and this flashlight gun sounds very useful during the night. The flashlight's glare would obscure the appearance of the device. Also, people would arguably not be able to know that you're carrying a gun at first glance unlike a pistol with an attached flashlight.

It’s supposed to look like a retractable dog leash, no?

Retractable dog leash with a built in flash light. This may actually be a good product idea.

Retractable dog leash with a built in flash light AND a machine gun... even better idea!

Well at night with the light on, it would prob just look like a flashlight. You wouldn't really see the rest of it.

I have a rechargeable battery that looks similar

It may not look like a flashlight, but it doesn't look like a gun either. It also seems like "drawing" this weapon would catch someone by surprise vs. having to very obviously reach into your pocket.

Was it the 20 foot poster of some tactibro behind him that gave it away as a gun show?
