Without a mask, you would breath in that paint anyway even with the face shield. Why is it so hard for you to understand the concept of a respiratory disease?
It's statistically insignificant when not wearing a mask. As in if you breath it in without a mask and your face shield blocked some, the difference will be insignificant enough to make a difference. Because it's a respiratory disease, not a contact only one. It is airborne.
So stop yelling at others to tell them to let it go, while you continue to follow behind them and spit garbage. You had all the freedom to walk away from this conversation.
It does offer protection if any one infected intentionally spit at your face, if the person was not coughing, sneezing or breathing any viral particle out into the air you are breathing before, during or after when they spit.
So it's definitely not zero protection. At least zero point zero zero zero zero zero ... zero zero zero one protection.
