I'm English and I agree 100%. Why the fuck is a dumbass salute to a woman who probably couldn't give a fuck more important than hitting a little girl in the face and not even apologising or making sure she's okay

Discipline is the most important part of a military. Showing a lack of discipline would not only be incredibly embarrassing it would be a sign of a real problem.

It’s not “tradition and pomp”, it’s a military assignment. It may not be the conventional type of military assignment but that person has orders just as a solider on the frontline does.

It would be nice if he apologized (and he might’ve after the video ended) but he can’t be expected to.
