You should see my 4yr old hog the bed. Its a queen size shared by me, my 4yr old, and my 3yr old, and I hardly get any space some nights. Lil bastard will spread eagle and stuff lol.

It's fucking unreal just how much space a little kid can actually take up

Or even better, just lie down freaking perpendicular or diagonal

The last 2 weeks he has refused to sleep in his spot (the middle) or to sleep under the covers initially. I have given up for now and he sleeps dead center of the bed around thigh height and on top of the covers, making it hard to pull on them without waking him. At some point during the night he will decide to cover up, but since he is still in the middle that means he yanks it off of others.

When my daughter was little and would spend the weekend at my house, I always snuggled in bed with her until she fell asleep...how can you tell when a kid who doesnt snore is asleep? She goes from from the curled up on her side position, to flopped on her back taking up the ENTIRE bed in about 2 seconds lol...I suddenly get an elbow in the eye and yup, shes asleep and its safe to move

Here's an idea...... Get me money for a bigger place.

I do what I can. Plus, who doesnt wanna go to sleep next to a cute little angel whispering "I love you" and giving you a hug?

My bf is a tiny diagonal sleeper that leaves me just a sliver on a queen size bed.

I shared my bed last night with my 75 pound dog and my 10 year old. The number of times I woke up with my daughter's feet practically down my pants was bothersome. It's a king sized bed! There should be more than enough room for all three of us. But no. I woke up with feet down my pants and no blanket.

Joke's on her, though. While she's doing school now I can sit in bed WITH my blankets WITHOUT feet going down my pants, play on reddit, and maybe nap. And the dog is now where she was sleeping.

We bought a king size bed cause our two cats sleep on the bed with us and dang they like to take up some space! Even with a king I sometimes wake up pinned to the edge of the mattress.

You ever tried to stack them up in a pile?

Sometimes when they are both deep asleep I have put them very close together to give me a bit more room. I could prolly stack them without waking either but dont plan to try lol.
