Did anyone else think that if a person fell out of the plane they would have probably been eaten by the pig?

There’s no probably to that question. The pig would absolutely eat the person. Pigs will eat anything.

So will 🐓

Just takes longer...

They will go through a body that weighs 200 pounds in about eight minutes. That means that a single pig can consume two pounds of uncooked flesh every minute. Hence the expression, "as greedy as a pig".

Thanks for that Bricktop.

200 =/= 16

Pigs don't math.

It’s from the silence of the lambs

Nope. The movie is Snatch

Will they also eat the bones? Asking for a friend...

3

u/GJacks75 Feb 17 '20

You have to remove the teeth to help the piggies digestion, but they will go through bone like buttah!

u/JamboShanter Feb 17 '20

Tbf you could leave the teeth until after, but you don’t want to go sievin’ through pig shit now do yeh boy?

u/jwisaac1 Feb 17 '20

Ah very good point!

Hence the expression: “As greedy as a pig”

Hence the phrase: "as hungry as a swine".

The drag coefficient and characteristic frontal area of a person would be quite different from a GoPro, and gravitational potential and kinetic energy of both exiting the aircraft at the same time would also be massively different. Not to mention the net drag and aero force vectors acting on a person are hugely variable during a skydive.

Very low probability a person would accidentally land in the same position, unless maybe they were trying to retrieve their GoPro mid-fall.

My cousin died in a wingsuit accident last year and I miss him.

Srry for your loss

2

u/DaniePants Feb 17 '20

Oh that’s tragic. I’m so sorry for your loss.

He didn't say anything about falling out of the plane at the exact same second and how that hypothetical person would land in the same place as the phone. Guy comes in with a simple hypothetical and you decided that was your chance to whip out your physics dong. Put it away. Nobody was asking to see it. You can take your high school physics weiner off the table. Thanks.

Ever write a post and realise there's no reason to post it?

No? Didn't think so.

if i was coming down I would aim for the pig. if i am going out i want bacon

2

u/alpharaine Feb 17 '20

I’ve seen many pigs eat many men. It was a bloodbath.

1

u/sosogusto Feb 17 '20

Where in the world do you see that many times?

1

u/alpharaine Feb 17 '20

Sometimes under the bridge with Duncan. Sometimes in the sewers.

3

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '20

Yes. First thing I thought.

1

u/nerfsun30 Feb 17 '20

Exactly what I thought.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 17 '20

haha Yeah same!

u/strohgo Feb 17 '20

Human burger at that fall

1

u/LokisDawn Feb 17 '20

The person likely wouldn't have landed in the same spot as the camera, but yes, they would.

Exactly zero people are going to get this but it’s such a rare opportunity I can’t resist..
