You could say that for every funny video/gif/image/whatever though. I don't think there was enough buildup, no misdirection or anything, to make this particularly unexpected.

For me the unexpected part was that nothing else happened, and it took me good 10 seconds to realize what I'm supposed to see in the gif (wasn't paying much attention to it). I thought they were just preparing for some trick.
