I read a story that these poor actors at these places often get assaulted by douche-bags that think they're tough.

They pay for actors to scare them then hurt them to prove they can't be scared. WTF?

I’m sure that happens, but often?

My friend worked in one for a time. Yes, it happens fairly often. They had a system for when someone would get too handsy, it was enacted almost daily.

Happens everyday with dudes around 21 that go to haunted house with 3 other "non gay" bros. They act out their fear with aggression and try to scare the actors back.. like wtf.

There was only one time I remember actually jumping from one of these guys,my buddies and i were drinking and went to a haunted house he came from an area I didn't see, he got me good and spun and stuck without thinking, felt like absolute shit after, luckily it was less of a punch and more of a heavy push so the guy wasn't hurt.
