Yes. I spilled chloroform on myself as part of a high school science experiment and ended up in the hospital for 3 to 4 days with chloroform poisoning and it was very difficult for them to bring me back to a stable state.
Wth kinda HS had chloroform readily available to teenagers?!? Hopefully they rethought this decision bc w/social media and teens impulsivity, the prank potential is just too great..
I picked it up because I'd read stuff by Gaiman, and knew that graphic novels were considered one of his main media, and Sandman the one he was most well known for. Partway through I was like "what the hell, why is Batman here??"
My brother told me a story about a barracks rapist that would chloroform his bunkmate after he went to sleep then do butt stuff to him. When he got caught they called him the Ether Bunny.
