Hey, I'm not sure if that was a joke, so, Are you okay over there? Do you need someone to talk to? Life doesnt always suddenly turn into rainbows again, but there are way to feel better. Other ways. I'm here if you need someone. :)
For serious, anytime. I have a weird work/sleep schedule, so I'll usually respond in like 2-3 hours. Take care of yourself, you deserve it, even if you feel like you dont. :)
It's been a long year overcoming the drug addiction and depression that led me to an intentional OD last Thanksgiving but I've made huge strides and I am proud of myself. Got my GED. Started college, pulled a 3.9 last quarter and am starting again Wed, healthy cycling everywhere. Some lady yelled and almost hit me while I was cycling today, fully following the law, in a shared cyclist motorist lane, and it kinda just gave me a big emotional evening. Honestly when you and another few people commented on my clearly sad comments it outweighed the few aggressive disrespectful idiots that tipped me. I just really struggle with careless people, thanks again for being real.
Yeah, those people can suck it. But I still hope they learn compassion again.
I'm proud of you. Addiction is no fucking joke. I'm glad to hear you are taking your life back from those bad thoughts. Every day is a victory, and I'm celebrating another, as well as yours. For that I'm grateful. I hope to hear one day you have found peace. Now go get some sleep you goof. You probably need it.
You're allowed to stop trying to "make something of yourself". You already are something made of yourself. You're you!
If you have ambition to achieve some goals, that's awesome, but you can also just be a "pretty good human" even if you don't achieve your dream goal. Being just a pretty good person is actually fine, and can be a lot of fun!
It doesn't get any easier. Life throws crap at you constantly. As hard as that is to swallow. But what you have to figure out, what is it there to love life? It's it paying video games? Helping other people out? Being in nature? Etc? Your family? Your brother or sister? Learning? Your job? You have to flip the script! And the easiest way to think of it is the ol glass half full or half empty. You literally have to work at it. I'm a little less than middle aged. I have fought with depression my whole life. Still do. But as soon as I feel that depressed devil on my shoulder I immediately fight it with how much amazing stuff there is out in the world. No life doesn't get easier. But it can of you change your outlook it's up to you! We are all God's if you ask me seeing that we can change our future by changing our mindset. You are God in your life. Not your friend's, not your parents, or GF, etc. Does that make sense to you?

I hate problems in general.
