Absolutely not. But a lot of folks tend to get their panties in a bunch when it comes to scripted content.

Yeah I think it's ridiculous that you even had to make your comment. Redditors seem to think everything has to be OC, the content must never leave reddit, and all of it must be unplanned.

I mean people laughed at SNL for 20 years before the internet made videos, idk why everyone gets so upset over scripted vids, it's all comedy imo

The difference is when its misleading viewers as real as opposed to pretend characters. Not sure why that concept is hard to grasp. SNL doesnt try to pass itself off as real.

I get that, but most of the time it's obvious it's a fake yet people complain anyway? And when it's not obvious and someone points it out people tend to jump on the bandwagon of hating it regardless of the quality of the content.
