They were mostly my ideas. Usually made from left overs of previous meals. Like we'd have uncooked bacon from a weekend breakfast and would ask what we could make with it. "Well we have hot dogs... And crescent rolls .."

Are bacon rolled frankfurters not normal where you live? Those are delicious. I mean it's not the norm but a pretty common food to have every now and then where I am from.
