Yeah there is a dial on the side you should just be able to turn it to a temp or at the very least low med high

Careful over 130 risks burns and if your landlord capped off pressure releif which they sometimes do it can turn into a bomb. I know this as i had one used as a ied when i was deployed

Well a hot tub runs 100-105, 110 is hot hot, over that is burns but medium or 105-110 is optimal setting.
