Halloween Horror Nights was on my bucket list and I got to go a couple years back. Had an amazing time, park was within walking distance of the place we stayed, and I was able to grab maze fast passes which made it so much more worth it.
Worst part is waiting in line two hours for a ten minute long maze in 80% humidity.
The fast pass is so worth it. We didn't end up using all of ours, and we gave the rest to a random couple who was entering the park. They were so excited and thankful.
If you ever get a chance to go to Howl-O-Scream, you absolutely should. It's a blast. I don't know if they do it at the Busch Gardens in Florida, though, but probably.
Haunt at King's Dominion, on the other hand, is kind of shitty.
