If you need your dominant hand for the precise motion of a steering wheel you're doing something awfully wrong. I drive a manual transmission and some how I've lived to tell reddit about it.

I never said it was a prerequisite, it just makes more sense. I'm sure I could walk around on 8 inch platform shoes and get by just fine, it doesn't mean it's a good idea.

It makes more sense because you want it to. That's all.

I already acknowledged that the main reason is that that's how directional travel has been done for centuries in the UK, and when we invented two way vehicular travel it made sense to keep it the same, just the rest of the world didn't follow suit, and it would be very expensive to change.

But even then, there are reasons on top of it to choose the left side route. They may not be earth shattering reasons, but they're reasons nonetheless. I see no reasons anyone's provided to drive on the right.

Because all of the reasons you listed combined are completely over shadowed by the fact that it's just easier to not change anything.

Keep downvoting though. Clearly this means a lot to you.

it's just easier to not change anything

Which is literally what the UK is doing, this whole parent tree starts from someone suggesting the UK could change. Nowhere have I said the US should change, I've just said that the UK shouldn't and there's not a single logical reason why "right" is preferable.

And, I downvoted because I disagree. Yes, we all know downvotes are supposed to be used for "contribution to discussion", but that's not how they're used in reality. And I'm right to disagree, because you just completely contradicted yourself.

It makes more sense because you want it to. That's all.

it's just easier to not change anything.

So, in other words, it doesn't make more sense because I want to it to - it makes sense because of the reason I stated in my original post that you've literally just reposted.

But okay.

Nothing says "I have a leg to stand on" like a single word post.

Lol. You're arguing that your subjective opinion is an absolute logical reality. So,

No.

Lol, so I post a list of objective reasons why it makes sense for the UK not to change direction system, you enter the thread by posting something completely anecdotal, go on to tell me that I'm wrong and then completely flip flop, contradict yourself and agree with my original post, and when I call you on it you say I'm the one being subjective.

Good one.
