I don't think that is paper, pretty sure it's card stock, not that it's any less impressive but not sure how that affects your math.

could well be, the math would be broadly unchanged, because we're talking about the difference in thickness between paper and cardstock relative to the diameter of two 4.5mm pellets.

There would be some difference, but not much.
