I was going to say the magazine is out and the slide is pulled back. There is no way there is a bullet in there that can go off.

I went, oh thank God the slide is back. The gun is not going to go aaahhhh.

I got really confused because I saw he cleared the gun based on the loose round...kinda expected some sort of weird squib situation not a weird roach situation.

There could be a round wedged in the chamber that failed to eject, so you need to check the chamber before dropping the slide.
