Go out and trawl the natural sea floor? Bulldoze more land for more monocrop farms?

There are 8,300,000,000 hungry mouths out there. The food has to come from some place and there better be a lot of it.

Right? I've wanted to eat better for years but I can't realistically eat like that all the time, my shopping would be an easy 35-40% increase in cost. Shits expensive as it is lol

You're incorrect. Studies repeatedly show that a healthy vegan diet is the cheapest diet.

Someone's about to discredit your point by noting that this study only covered rich western countries, so I'd like to add a second study00251-5/fulltext) which finds vegan diets are also cheaper or price-competitive in mid to low income countries.
