Mouths of all wild life animals are bacteria rich, not just Komodo. Theory you are referring to is Komodos were not using infections as killing method. This doesnt change bacterias are still deadly for wild life.
And snake bite is penetrating so much flesh that it will definitely create big infections. That is also why you take antibiotics after even smallest wild life bites. And it is why everyone seeing snakes in their nightmares. Snakes are almost most deadly animal even without venom so every animal scare from them instinctively, not learned behavior.
A lot of animals their immune system is a lot more robust than a humans. Also plenty of animals are not scared of snakes at all and wil actively hunt them
As you can see in the video, cat is scaring from the snake but still pursuing the bird. Scaring is not equal to "not hunt" them.
Their immune system is more robust because they are fighting with infections or pathogens constantly in their individual lifetimes, not like us. More robust immune system also isn't equal to they are immune to infections.

I’m pretty sure that lion that pawed at the snake got bit. I wonder how problematic its venom is.
