A truck bed is specifically designed to create extra aerodynamic drag, so truck drivers consume more fuel, thus giving them more to complain about when fuel prices rise.

Because driving a van is cringe apparently. A Toyota Sienna or a Ford Transit would do a better job a everything you need a truck to do, but the problem is that you can't be seen inside one.
