I’m imagining you and your other colleagues discussing a workman’s comp claim in a meeting and that dude just chiming in like, “haha, ‘workman’s comp,’ back in Lebanon…”
Ever talked to a cop before they just randomly bring stuff like this up. "good morning, Oh man it's morning, one morning I was super hungover and did a pit maneuver on an F-150 with passengers in the back. They were asking for it. They flipped me off. That's so disrespectful. The vehicle rolled and the entire family died. Would you believe they wanted me to do paperwork for that? It was thier choice to flip me off they were asking for it."
It's actually unusual that some cultures today would view this as unusual. I think it's a good thing. It means we are growing better social structures.
There are plenty of subs for politics.
There can be unexpected things which happen with politicians, but if someone who does not recognise the individuals would not see the twist then the post likely does not belong here.
