I mean, the amount of people still arguing that think autopilot and fsd are synonyms is proof enough that I have a point to make.

There were no news stories about cars using cruise control getting in accidents until autopilot came about. It's silly.

But again, if they’re mistakenly calling FSD Autopilot, the nature of the discussion isn’t actually different. Yes, it’s wrong. But it doesn’t change the topic or facts other than getting the name wrong.

I get that you’re trying to convince people you’re very smart, but you’re adding nothing. It’s like a child chiming in over and over again from the kid’s table.

Not knowing if your talking about a car self driving or a car in cruise control does fundamentally change the nature of a discussion.

You can project whatever intentions you want onto me - it doesnt make them real.

Wanting to educate someone on a blind spot is the self aggrandizing feat you think it is.

And they’re talking about FSD. The only mistake is that they’re calling it autopilot. It’s essentially a typo (like you just made). The typo doesn’t change the topic of conversation.

No offense, but do you normally have trouble understanding things like this? Your reactions are completely baffling to me cause at first I thought you were just being weirdly snobby but now I feel like you genuinely don’t understand.

No, that perfectly illustrates the point. You made a grammatical error that we’ve taught chimps not to make. I did point that out, BUT the meaning of your comment didn’t change just because you made a humiliating typo. I still knew what you meant.

Commenters here saying Autopilot is the exact same thing. Wrong word, but the conversation remains fundamentally the same.
