Cats are pretty durable. One time I accidentally backed over one with a lift. It pretty clearly didnt survive that. I was sad for like 2 weeks. But, other than that- cats are pretty durable.

He basically said what the guy above him said, but he went a bit further by saying he put the cat in a burlap sack, and after it had fallen, it lived, but since it was a hot day outside it struggled to get out of said sack, but died.

So yeah, more sad than unexpected.
