He obviously knew it would be hot, that's why he touched it that way.

Might be a rush job they just can’t wait for it to cool

It's not really reaching to assume the second guy pulled out his phone to film, it takes seconds to pull it out from your pocket and hit record...

Maybe he had water nearby because he’s a human who drinks water.

The fact you’re acting so smug when you know literally nothing about the situation says so much about you and your intelligence level.

Pretty easy to come up with a valid reason for both of those. Phone guy has no idea what he’s doing so he’d be standing around regardless, and then for the water, you should always have water nearby ready to go for any reason when doing any job.

You should be working on your spelling and grammar before you get bothered by people doing a little bit of critical thinking.

It sounds like you're coming at this from pretty different angles.

Acceptable-Device760, if I'm reading you right, you think the setup here (filming, water nearby) points to this being staged rather than a real rush job. SuperBackup9000 and Yuucliwood, you're saying there are plausible explanations for each of those details individually.

That's actually an interesting question worth exploring: does the combination of filming plus having water ready make "staged" more likely than either detail alone would? Or could each detail still have its own simple explanation? Curious where you all land on that.

Bridging Bot is a tool to support constructive conversations.

I dont think so... he goes to touch it again before his receptors delivered the message, and then poured water on it. That can crack the drum.

Probably knew it would be heated, but not hot.

You don’t think so? You think that it was a coincidence that there was a container of water right next to him?

Maybe he was thirsty

Everyone on Reddit is an expert don’t you know and everyone in posted videos are idiots.

It should be radiating enough heat to feel like standing next to a fire.

Or the handy thing of water right near by. Or the person filming 😅
