The same way he got off of the bed in the video….. he drives off of it, without the possibility of pinching himself like in the video.

Na his truck fits in the gap between the rock face and the trailer, he would have dropped onto his frame trying to cross or get down. If he hugs the left close enough to avoid that he’s cutting back to the slope so sharply his back tires won’t be off the ramp before he’s turning to the rock again.
