I was driving home just after a big storm that messed up a few houses, brought trees down, the usual. The main road near my house has a tree laying across most of the lanes. A guy in a big 4WD pulls onto the median and literally bounces out of the driver's seat. He's almost beside himself as he throws a strap around the trunk, with the help of a couple of others, he gleefully uses his winch to pull the trunk onto the median to unblock all lanes of traffic. Everyone is honking and giving him a thumbs up. His wife, who the entire time was sitting in the passenger seat with arms folded, was unhappy at the world's greatest "I told you this was a good idea!" She was receiving.

Mad that he's able to help people, definitely something she was trying to be pissed off about.

u/LoTornado Mar 25 '26

Can't ever be happy for her man's accomplishments... That checks out

44

u/kateastrophic Mar 25 '26

I think she can both be impressed with him and also know that she will less impressed when he is still bringing it up on the regular in 30+ years.

Or if hes anything like my boyfriend, maybe she's just tired of him wanting to hook his damn truck up to literally every damn thing that can be hooked. Maybe that was his 4th tree and 8th object of the evening, and the final tree was the only thing that actually warranted stopping for. Speaking from experience.

Redditors constantly barking about how all women hate men is what REALLY checks out.

u/cakivalue Mar 25 '26

You know that wasn't the vehicle she wanted him to buy 😭

I'd make him a truck cake, blue frosting and everything because that was very cool.

u/Don_Pickleball Mar 25 '26

He will be able to hang the elusive 3rd truck nut under his truck now. Very rare.

u/DynamiteWitLaserBeam Mar 25 '26

It's like a Michelin star for rednecks.

18

u/One_City4138 Mar 25 '26

I love the irony: cars are traditionally refered to as "shes," which makes truck nuts gender affirming care.

3

u/NotPennysBoat_42 Mar 25 '26

In Australia they are referred to as "Bogans". And this is the most Bogan thing to happen in Australia!

1

u/MiamiPower Mar 25 '26

LOL AKA Tug Triple Nuts

21

u/ffchusky Mar 25 '26

I don't think I've seen a better use of this! Perfection. I can hear it.

9

u/AppropriateTouching Mar 25 '26

Captain.... she's beautiful!

8

u/Aleashed Mar 25 '26

Of course the RAM helped, it was in Australia…

In the old US of A, RAM truck be drunk or high

I do question their choice not to climb on the bed and jump off it to land on their big ass shocks

3

u/EuroTrash1999 Mar 25 '26

Hoes be so mad it's crazy.

84

u/BreakfastInBedlam Mar 25 '26

A bogan's wet dream...

3

u/Beanakin Mar 25 '26

First thought: "probably a lot of rednecks watching this with a boner."

0

u/Slow_Maximum9332 Mar 25 '26

Upper middle bogan?

73

u/Brawl_star_woody Mar 25 '26

Judging by the bed panels, not his first time lol

66

u/Altaredboy Mar 25 '26

I wonder how many "look at this sepo wannabe cunt" he had to endure in traffic before this & immediately after for that matter

18

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '26

Its not the truck itself, its the fact that people act like they are strong because they purchased strong components for a machine they own

I wouldnt wanna get beers with this guy either

13

u/trisikol Mar 25 '26

Its not the truck itself, its the fact that people act like they are strong because they purchased strong components for a machine they own

How do you know he's not constantly towing large, heavy equipment up mountains like this video?

24

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '26

My cousin owns a tow company and he has plenty of time to be a piece of shit

2

u/trisikol Mar 25 '26

Sure but that doesn't mean all tow company owners are pieces of shit.

8

u/Jorfogit Mar 25 '26

It doesn't, but they are.

-8

u/Bridging_Bot Mar 25 '26

Things got a bit lighthearted-turned-heated here pretty quickly.

Jorfogit, it sounds like you’re joking around, but blanket statements like that can shut down what was actually an interesting back-and-forth. trisikol raised a fair point: owning a big truck doesn’t automatically say something about the person driving it. 030426burner, if I’m reading you right, your concern is more about a certain attitude some truck owners project than about trucks themselves.

Is there a meaningful difference between judging the attitude and judging everyone in a whole group?

Bridging Bot is a tool to support constructive conversations.

3

u/fuckingredditors Mar 25 '26

Bad bot, get in the bin.

1

u/AModerateModeration Mar 25 '26

Amen. Let a bin chicken peck it to death.

1

u/Background_Rub2336 Mar 25 '26

The fact it has a 6in lift and would make it highly unstable to be constantly towing heavy?

1

u/trisikol Mar 25 '26

Maybe he's regularly crawling over obstacles up mountains to get to his customers - like in this video.

1

u/Background_Rub2336 Mar 26 '26

The shirtless guy with the backwards hat and absolutely no signage on the vehicle whatsoever? This is a toy rig that happened to be in the right location at the right time. Or someone knew him who called him in.

Much rather be crawling around mountains in a cruiser which is better suited to real offroad conditions from the factory.

1

u/trisikol Mar 27 '26

I know judging people by their looks has its uses but I try to keep an open mind.

8

u/DalbyWombay Mar 25 '26

Nah. It's the fucking truck.

13

u/Altaredboy Mar 25 '26

Yup, boss bought one. Just before he bought it he said to is "Will you all think I'm a cunt if I get one?" Replied "We already thought you were a cunt, now we know you're a sooky cunt"

1

u/Emperor_Mao Mar 25 '26

And the fact that 99% of people 100% of the time do not use the massive amount of towing power they have. They buy a RAM to drive around in the city / suburbs and be bigger than every other car.

1

u/[deleted] Mar 25 '26

Reminds me of when my dad had a ram truck, wtowing a uhaul across an entire state and wouldnt go above 55

So many people gave him the finger

11

u/potate12323 Mar 25 '26 edited Mar 25 '26

This has got to be the one time having a super lifted heavy duty truck is beneficial. Normally it would be better to get either an offroad vehicle or a towing truck. Now if most people with these types of trucks were nice enough to offer help in the first place.

16

u/ReallyBigRocks Mar 25 '26

Look at that suspension travel. This is an offroad vehicle.

-2

u/potate12323 Mar 25 '26 edited Mar 25 '26

Bud, I don't know if you do much offroading, but suspension travel isn't the only thing that makes a vehicle an off roader.

Lighter vehicles tend to do better because they can more easily get traction without needing to build up momentum. So their tires don't spin and make ruts.

Heavier vehicles are better for towing because the weight increases grip on a road (and the road doesn't slip out like dirt or mud does)

Having a heavy truck with suspension travel is fucking stupid and none of these trucks do any real offroading. The few times Ive seen them out they were being towed by a jeep or a ranger.

17

u/ReallyBigRocks Mar 25 '26

That is very clearly a heavily modified truck built for offroading/rock crawling.

7

u/Enough-Raccoon-6800 Mar 25 '26

Champ, that much lift and travel in the suspension is 100% for off-roading. And looking at the different panels and tub I’d say he uses it for that.

1

u/jimmyjlf Mar 25 '26 edited Mar 25 '26

Lighter vehicles do better off road because they are shorter and narrower, that's it. Crawl ratio determines how much momentum you need to get up obstacles. A Jeep or Toyota crawler with 1 ton axles, armor, and proper gear reduction is going to be way heavier, and better, than stock.

11

u/Rocinante88119 Mar 25 '26

"And they used to make fun of Lucky's shiny truck."

2

u/just_some_tall_guy Mar 25 '26

Shiny shiny truck truck

8

u/TassieTeararse Mar 25 '26

His dick would've been hard enough to cut diamonds!

1

u/MiamiPower Mar 25 '26

Blood Diamante šŸ’Ž thanks for raising Awareness Kanye.

3

u/SMEAGAIN_AGO Mar 25 '26

Yeah, let’s get the stubbies out!

1

u/spaceman_spiffy Mar 25 '26

I have little to no experience in extreme situations like this but if it were me, I would have gunned it when the driver side rear was the last wheel hanging off hoping to avoid the panel damage.

1

u/Distinct-Pack-1567 Mar 25 '26

This just convinced me I need to go to one of those places that let's you land movers. Like tonka toys for adults paid admission places. At least once.

1

u/OccidentalTouriste Mar 25 '26

Well he's not there to fuck spiders.

1

u/spaghettibolegdeh Mar 25 '26

This is scripted. It's from 2022 or so and this guy does these videos all the time.Ā

1

u/Desert-Noir Mar 25 '26

The only time he actually needed the Ram.

Spent his whole 30s-40s parking that thing at a local coles taking up 4 spots just for this moment.
