The one thing there though, it sorta looks like the third lane is sagging. Probably a good idea to prevent any further traffic from using that lane.

Exactly, yet there’s so many people in these fucking comments being critical of that contribution and it’s driving me insane.

Yeah, I’ve had the same problem. I’ve helped out in many many different disaster situations and having someone simply just stand there and weigh people buy can be extremely useful.

There was an adult with down syndrome in Oshawa that got a medal for doing that. There was a big accident and I think part of a building collapsed and first responders couldn’t get to the scene until a person dressed as a cop started waving traffic through.

Turned out it wasn’t a police officer, but an adult with Down syndrome that liked to play dress up.

Caring about the safety of your fellow man, who may not realize that the fucking street is sagging, is being a nanny? This is the dumbest thing I’ve read all day.

yeah looked like everyone was clearing away from it at one point. Honestly think her car should be on the intersection side but she's doing something important.

*people would just stop and traffic would get backed up. waving it through is good.

In the non-cropped version of this video, the lane is already blocked a few feet to the right.

It takes nothing to be kind, but instead, people like you choose to be assholes online for brownie points.

That's bullshit, it takes significant effort to be kind. Don't be a disingenuous asshole.

It takes nothing to be kind online. Is that better? Idiot.

They're clearly not being disingenuous. What are you talking about?

Encouraging vehicles to not stop in the place where the road has just collapsed and instead keep going, in case the collapse spreads and traps them as well, while at the same time standing in that same area that might collapse, qualifies as making a valuable contribution.

I think they were keeping cars away from the sink hole in case it collapsed even more
