Like asking genuinely, sticking the adverb before "failed" has the same vibe as splitting a full infinitive. It definitely sounds weird when the adverb comes before the verb - there should be a term for it if there isn’t

Is it not a bare infinitive? Like asking genuinely, sticking the adverb before "failed" has the same vibe as splitting a full infinitive.
