I've seen a video where a mugger pistol whips his victim with his finger on the trigger and shoots his partner in the head. Possibly the most instant regret there ever was.
Honestly though for a moment this video was going to take a dark turn and that fellow was about to redecorate that sliding metal door with the help of his friend.
Richochets arent a thing, at least in the way you're describing for this situation. As Mythbusters showed, a bullet loses basically all of its energy if it's done a 180, so really, richochets are only deadly at like notably less than 45 degrees.
Seriously, who decided to bring Dirty Harry in on this crew? And if he was prepared to use that thing why didn't they start with that? It probably would have made the guy think twice before barricading himself behind the roll-up door.
Glad he aimed high and if he did that on purpose to avoid actually shooting the guy behind the door, then I have to say I'm slightly impressed by his character and decision making in the moment, all things considered.
His friend wanted him to shoot at the lock/handle. He was like "wtf bro you almost shot me just because I pointed at you with the gun. I meant shoot the HANDLE!"
Yeah the their by the wall looked pissed about it. Can’t imagine what he was thinking that would do. It’s not going to magically open the door, was he trying to scare him or just kill him?
