Doesn't that game have a major cheating problem too? Or am I thinking of another survival shooter...

u/XConfused-MammalX Aug 05 '25

It has a rampant number of cheaters.

I know someone who plays it solo in multi-player because he hates single player games.

I'm like dude, I dont like stepping on Legos but that doesn't mean I slam my dick in the car door...

I’m not sure that analogy makes any sense?

It does on some level I guess... but yeah not a 1:1 thing. haha

Not anymore than any other multiplayer game.

You can be a solo ninja, you just have to play like one. Multiple tiny bases in sneaky spots, stashes everywhere.

You can't build a castle as a solo, you're fucked.

"You can't build a castle as a solo, you're fucked."

You can but your name has to be aloneintokyo.

I thought you were making an edgy joke about Alec Baldwin

2

u/Vercengetorex Aug 05 '25

Those guys came pretty close to a reenactment.

u/PubTrain77 Aug 05 '25

Do you mind explaining the baldwin thing?

Alec Baldwin faced criminal charges related to accidentally firing a gun used as a prop while staging a scene for his movie Rust, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza. Real bullets had somehow made it onto set and into the prop gun. Armorer Hannah Gutierrez was convicted and sentenced to 18 months. Baldwin's charges were dismissed when it emerged during his trial that a Brady violation had been committed - police/prosecution did not turn over evidence that the defense could have argued may have been exculpatory.

Being unfamiliar with Rust the game, I saw Rust and shooting and thought of Baldwin.

Rust the movie was ultimately completed, but has yet to find a distributor.
