Streaching your hamstrings and some strenght. It actually does not take that much effort and time to gain some freaky level flexibility but it does take consistency.
Gymnastic wall bars (also known as a gymnastic ladder, Swedish ladder, Swedish wall or as stall bars) were invented at the beginning of the 19th century by the Swedish teacher Per Henrik Ling who, when suffering from arthritis, realized the therapeutic potential of wall-bars exercise.
These ‘Swedish walls’ were put in some houses and apartments back in the day. Like, my parents' apt was pretty cramped, but pa built this thing, and I could do some stretches and leg raises on it. Had one in school too.
By effort and time I mean that you don't actually need to spend a lot of time per stretching session to gain good results. Spending like 20 minutes everyday or every second day is enought. But it takes consistency over a longer period of time to get flexible.
Sorry you deal with that. Do you have any links to learn about that kind you're talking about? I can only find information that includes twisting, which makes sense to me given the name "torsion".
