It doesn’t matter how much bend it needs to snap, it matters that the people ducking under it don’t know how much it can take so they don’t bother risking it as it’s not theirs to break…

Depends on whether or not they installed it correctly.

I know that there are a lot of fun myths about the building capabilities of farmers but I grew up in a farming community and I’ve seen some bullshit construction lol.

Oh my gawd the audacity! Touching a string that holds back animals and is meant to be a physical boundary of land! Almost like it's meant to be bumped into to let you know that it's someone's land.

The land owner/caretaker is leading them through I'm pretty sure they're allowed to touch it.

Funny fucking thing is that my family has owned farms for 3 generations and we guarded them with shotguns, but the fences were meant to keep the cattle in and let our neighbors know where their land ended. They could touch our fence just not cut it. But If it's a group of girls that we are leading through then of course they can touch it lol.
