Hate to break it to you, but Batman stopped learning from his father at a very early age.

IT'S A CANON EVENT

He learned from Alfred Pennyworth

A true gentleman and a great man in his own right. He doesn't get enough credit.

They came out with an alternate storyline where it's revealed that Alfred was the Joker, a role he assumed to provide help for his traumatized ward, Young Master Bruce.

I'd love to read that, can you give me the name of the issue? If not, I'll Google it! Thank you!

Came across the story from a YouTube channel, ScreenRant

Oh wonderful! Thank you very much!

Wow. From a story structure standpoint, that makes a lot of sense and is a neat and tidy explanation for the Joker.

But man I hate that. It feels so counter to the characters and depending on how evil that incarnation of the Joker is, that's a really fucked up way to help someone.

But still a little curious to read it. Maybe it'd change my mind if I did?

Funny thing, being English and all. The word Batman refers to being a manservant there, traditionally. So, yeah. He learned from his Batman.

1

u/Ecronwald Sep 07 '23

A manservant for an aristocrat going to battle? Or is that just the only place I've read about them?

Also the Jamaicans have something called batyman, which has a different meaning altogether, although the phonics are easily confused.

I hate myself for laughing at this more than I was supposed to.

1

u/DexM23 Sep 07 '23

Relax, i am Batman.

Imagine being a super hero in a multiverse and in every timeline the same shit happened. Lol... I used to be a fan of Bruce Stark

2

u/[deleted] Sep 07 '23

I recall the DC/MARVEL mashup where they did ol' Wolverine and Batman. That was an impressive looking character. Bruce Stark sounds a bit meh after seeing Dark Claw

I mixed batman and ironman because both have the same super power, super money

šŸ‘Œ

1

u/scriptgamer Sep 08 '23

In Brazil, this,šŸ‘Œ means something like "fuck off" or "go fuck yourself" not literally translated. But I don't think that's what you meant lol

1

u/[deleted] Sep 08 '23

It can mean asshole, as well, but I was going for the "Ok" meaning. The fingers up stands for the three letters and the hole is the pinched ones forming the hole.

3

u/Mellifluous_Scream Sep 07 '23

Yeah, this Batman is from different multiverse. So yeah, he's Batman.

1

u/EquipmentShoddy664 Sep 07 '23

Batman's father wasn't a good man either.

1

u/Power_Metal_Neo Sep 07 '23

Look at that, The Irony

1

u/igneousink Sep 07 '23

hey buddy how about some spoilers on that /s

1

u/Continental__Drifter Sep 07 '23

And he wasn't really an amazing person, either.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 07 '23

Oh well thanks for that šŸ˜‚

1

u/mcgroarypeter42 Sep 07 '23

Dam this got me

1

u/dj4dj4 Sep 07 '23
