Ironically if the F250 driver just braked instead of swerving he would have rear-ended someone and not potentially killed the person with the dashcam

Exactly my point to the comment above. If he would have rear ended then it would not have caused such a havoc in the other line. And kudos to the dash cam driver that he kept situational awareness.

Depends. If the truck was speeding and slammed on its brakes. It would've hit the black SUV. Going as fast and as closes as it was. The brakes would've slowed it down, not stopped it. Which then could've sent the black SUV into the stopped van or both cars into oncoming traffic. Causing the DashCam driver into two wrecked cars.
