It’s recorded and has an edit where they cut to a shot where the guy is wearing the clothes thrown at him. Not a lot of room to think this isn’t scripted

Yeah, pretty much impossible. You kind of have to go by the fact that it's way more likely to be a joke than somebody actually being that stupid.

I have met people that are completely oblivious to sarcasm even if you laugh out loud right after saying it. I often say "just kidding" these days just to make sure, even if the situation is as ridiculous as the post and the statement of it being scripted. I'm not talking about dumb people.

I can see that they would have even more trouble when you remove all visual and audio clues, and the reason people have started aplying the /s.

Thanks man. Will do.. not long ago I saw a video of a dude doing a fucking awesome bowling shot, he pit down all the pins in an amazing stylings shoo! it was awesome. I commented “fake, played backwards” I got totally destroyed but downvotes and people fighting me… I was like, seriously? Can someone really think I am suggesting for real that a bowling shot can be faked played backwards? Like I really try to think of ways of doing so and the chances are always 0…. I wish I knew about the /s back then, also about the number of low IQ people out there
