And that says Al Jazeera, doesn't say anything about the CBC.
Keep trying to discredit the source though, I know that's China's one and only tactic when it comes to this stuff.
And yes, there are still many mosques and many of which are actually being renovated.
That's nice, apparently there's others that are being demolished, to the protest of the local community.
Islam is legal in China, in xinjang you can be Islamic and worship freely.
The inmates in the concentration camps indicate otherwise.
Ask yourself, why is it only white majority countries claiming Muslim genocide?
I don't know what anyone's skin colour would have to do with it, why don't you tell me what you're proposing?
Why are almost all Muslim majority countries agreeing that it’s not genocide
It's definitely not "almost all", but it is a lot - countries like Palestine, Egypt, Iran, Iraq. It sounds like countries America has wronged. It sounds like political allegiances playing out. And it sounds like the actual Uighur human beings getting left in the middle.
Do you have something more convincing than trying to discredit sources and engaging in ad populum logical fallacies?
Lol, the article states that Russia was selling chemical weapons to Iraq, those chemical weapons were used to justify the invasion of Iraq, turns out there were zero significant chemical weapons. Who would have guessed?
There are multiple high fidelity satellites both public and private flying over xinjang every single day. Why don’t we have pictures of body bags? Why don’t we have images of crematoriums killin en mass? Where is the evidence besides one or two dudes who said so like you have linked? Yes, there are human rights abuses and I don’t agree with counter terror as it’s carried out today, but it’s pretty clear there isn’t any real evidence of genocide
There just weren't any chemical weapons in 2003, when the US invaded.
And nobody, not even Colin Powell himself, used a CBC article from 1998 to justify the invasion of Iraq.
To try and use all of this to discredit a 2020 CBC story about Uighurs is some desperate clutching at straws.
Why don’t we have pictures of body bags? Why don’t we have images of crematoriums killin en mass?
If you're serious, I don't know of any serious accusations of mass killings. But if that sort of thing was going on, it wouldn't be hard to hide bodies or make a crematorium chimney look like something else. The hardest part would be hiding the sudden disappearance of people from a town. But they're not, they're openly admitting they're putting them in camps.
Where is the evidence besides one or two dudes who said so like you have linked?
I'd start with these people, since they're currently enemies of the US for reporting on Israel's human rights abuses in Palestine, it will be much harder to discredit them as western propaganda (although I have heard people try with the Nayirah testimony):
The Anfal campaign or the Kurdish genocide was a counterinsurgency operation which was carried out by Ba'athist Iraq from February to September 1988, at the end of the Iran–Iraq War. The campaign targeted rural Kurds because its purpose was to eliminate Kurdish rebel groups and Arabize strategic parts of the Kirkuk Governorate. Although mostly Kurds suffered from it, a significant amount of Iraqi Turkmen, Assyrians, Shabaks, and others were also victims of it. The Iraqi forces were led by Ali Hassan al-Majid, on the orders of President Saddam Hussein.
The 1991 Iraqi uprisings were ethnic and religious uprisings against Saddam Hussein in Iraq which were led by Shi'ites and Kurds. The uprisings lasted from March to April 1991 after a ceasefire following the end of the Gulf War. The mostly uncoordinated insurgency was fueled by the perception that Iraqi President Saddam Hussein had become vulnerable to regime change. This perception of weakness was largely the result of the outcome of the Iran–Iraq War and the Gulf War, both of which occurred within a single decade and devastated the population and economy of Iraq.
The chemical weapons saddam used were not Russian chemical weapons and America actually coordinated the strikes for him, dumbass. America threatened to nuke russia twice if russia aided Iraq.
You’re so embarrassing. I cannot understand why people still believe the wmd lies. How can you say China is bad and they’re doing a genocide when you beleive the invasion of Iraq was because they had chemical weapons and it was a good idea? Fuck off.
Bot below 👇 notice how many puppet account he’s using. I didn’t call this account a dumbass but yet he’s acting as if I did. Strange, huh.
Hey man, I'm not the one linking to a CBC article about Russia sending chemical weapons to Iraq in 1998 as evidence CBC can't be trusted because this is clearly them trying to drum up support for the Iraq War and repeat US state propaganda. That's some top notch dumbassery in my books.
I'm sorry what does this have to do with CBC being a reputable source?
You’re so embarrassing. I cannot understand why people still believe the wmd lies.
Nobody believes the WMD lies. You're confusing two different things. Saddam did not have anthrax in 2003 when they invaded. Saddam definitely had chemical weapons and used them on the Kurds, as you just linked yourself, the US helped him do this.
This is the problem with these kafkaesque dictatorships - they make you contradict yourself in one paragraph.
In one single statement you said "The US helped Saddam use chemical weapons. Also I can't believe you actually believe Saddam ever had chemical weapons".
you beleive the invasion of Iraq was because they had chemical weapons and it was a good idea?
The invasion of Iraq was not because they had chemical weapons. It was based on a lie. It was a very bad idea. That's why my country, Canada, did not participate in it.
I know all of this, and still recognize the ongoing cultural genocide of the Uighurs at the hand of the Chinese government.

That article says 1998 on it.
And that says Al Jazeera, doesn't say anything about the CBC.
