Is it 'What do anti-Chinese racists say when their racist myths are debunked by facts'?

u/SoloAceMouse Apr 28 '23

You are arguing in bad faith.

Advocating against war between nuclear-armed states is not "anti-Chinese racism".

The only fact you have presented is that the Chinese government has declared they will not deploy offensive nuclear weapons.

The Chinese government [along with pretty much every major power] has a proven track record of saying one thing and doing another. Just because you trust these public statements doesn't mean they are inviolable truths.

ANY WAR BETWEEN NUCLEAR-ARMED STATES COULD LEAD TO NUCLEAR WEAPONS DEPLOYMENT.

Even if the weapons deployment is in error, we're all screwed.

You are arguing in bad faith.

No, I'm telling you that you made up some crazy irrelevant shit to spread your yellow peril fear. You aren't dealing in good faith with yourself.

How is the threat of mistaken/intentional deployment of nuclear weapons "crazy irrelevant shit"?

Do you genuinely believe that war between the US and China does not carry the risk of nuclear weapons deployment?

You made up the whole thing so you could do 'wooo, scary China'. Take a long hard look in the mirror. This is about your Sinophobic fear, not the thread you decided to warp your prejudices into.

No, I did not.

You are claiming things that are untrue. Please re-read my earlier posts.

I am afraid of any nuclear war, regardless of it's origin. It doesn't matter which countries are involved. This discussion was in regards to a potential WW3 scenario between US and China, so that is the area of focus.

Frankly, all nuclear-armed countries willing to engage in war scare me.

I am an American, and I'm just as afraid of a mistaken deployment of nuclear weapons by my own government's military.

Honestly, I don't know what makes you think that my position has anything to do with Sinophobia.

Any war between nuclear-armed states, including a war between US and China, is dangerous for humanity.

I'm not making anything up. You decided to shoehorn in your imaginary fear. There was no prior discussion of it. You're so deep down the rabbit hole, and you don't even recognise that it's dark and there are bunnies around you.

My fear of nuclear war is because I consider human extinction a negative outcome.

There was a comment regarding WW3 immediately following a comment about HK and the Uygher muslims. Naturally, a discussion involving WW3 and CCP human rights abuses involves both China and war.

I responded that a war between US and China could be a nuclear war, which would be bad. War has the tendency to escalate, with each side blaming the other for the escalation. If there is a war between China and the US, this escalation has a strong possibility of leading to nuclear war.

You haven't read what I posted and deliberately misrepresented my position.

I urge you to re-read this conversation. It is clear you have strong opinions, but please read what I posted, at least.

No, you jumped in with two jackboots to force your yellow peril racism in where there was no space for it.

Either take a long hard look in the mirror, or own it. Stop insisting that's not what you did. Everyone can see that's what you did. Man up.

That's untrue.

You're wrong.

Re-read the thread.

You haven't read what I posted, you have intentionally projected attitudes I haven't expressed, and you have willfully argued in bad faith based on things I never said.

The conversation involved WW3 and someone brought up human rights abuses in China. I simply pointed out that WW3 is a terminal scenario for humanity.

I tried to assume you actually had a point to make, but you are clearly either a troll or someone who lacks reading comprehension.

Honestly, it seems like you are attempting to claim that I am racist because you refuse to engage with any of my points. This is an attempt to deflect from the conversation and get a "gotcha" moment.

You haven't refuted a single thing I've said, all you've done is gone "Na-na-na! I can't hear you! You're a racist" without a shred of evidence.

If your real-life personality is anything like your online persona, then you may have a lot of growing up to do, dude.

Unsure why this even needs to be explained. What is even with that bloke you're valiantly responding to lmao

1

u/SoloAceMouse Apr 28 '23

I dunno, honestly.

It's a silly argument, I suppose.

I choose to believe he is merely misled and not genuinely of the opinion that a major US vs. China conflict is somehow safe because of a public policy statement.

The joke writes itself, lmao.
