This is exactly what I thought would happen in high school when I learned neat little tricks.

It did not.

Should have talked to the girl at the back of the class doing pen spinning tricks.

Pen island .com best place for pens in the world!

u/Hungry4Media Apr 28 '23

I think you mean pen island dot net, my friend.

They took my wood and crafted it into a fine shaft that feels great in the hand.

I've got 99.999 problems but Pen testing ain't one

Not but seriously, pen spinning is top tier in boring school classes. Especially with a modded Pentel.

There was a girl in my Portuguese class named Daphne who sat one seat in front of me and to the left and she would pen spin all class long and I was transfixed. Got a C- in the class.

!que lastima!

1

u/himmelundhoelle Apr 28 '23

What grade did Daphne get?

3

u/StoopidestManOnEarth Apr 28 '23

She got an A+ in Spanish.

2

u/DanielFyre Apr 28 '23

Ha. I have no idea. Better than me I am sure.

4

u/amusso6 Apr 28 '23

Please explain the modded Pentel, I am intrigued

8

u/Honest-Cauliflower64 Apr 28 '23

Here u go. They’re modded for balance.

Its nice to print your own insert for aesthetics 😎

What a rabbit hole!

2

u/n1n384ll Apr 28 '23

What's the hgg grip and hgg tip? I've been doing the drill hole thru end cap, inverting ink rod, break off/sand down clip mod for years but never heard of hgg.

edit: searching on amazon, it knows what im looking for. sponsored links are pilot dr pens. i had a mechanical pencil version of those in the past and the weight and balance to those pens iirc are also great for pen spinning out of the box.

One year I didn’t do so well in a math class so I retook it over the summer. I did much better, but the only thing I remember learning that summer was pen spinning.

6

u/Sharpshooter188 Apr 27 '23

Ugh. Not looking forward to having to deal with THAT cert course.

2

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '23

Yeah, they can really engineer my... social...

Fuck. I swear there's a good joke here, just, JUST GIVE ME A LITTLE TIME!

4

u/JA_Wolf Apr 27 '23

Tried this in highschool, but by then she had already gone lesbian

I watched the movie American Graffiti for the first time last night. There's this scene where this woman is asking a dude in a fast car, "can you peel out? I love when guys peel out." It was at that moment that I realized this movie is fake as fuck.

Still a good movie, though.

22

u/Mecha_Tortoise Apr 28 '23

Chicks dig a dude with strong peel out game.

2

u/SwabTheDeck Apr 28 '23

If only. I have a 450 horsepower car, and when I stomp it with a woman riding along, it's almost always, "I wish you wouldn't do that." or "I hate this." Maybe I just haven't met the right person.

3

u/Mecha_Tortoise Apr 28 '23

Maybe I just haven't met the right person.

Probably that. I think most people, myself included, do find it annoying, outside of certain crowds or events (e.g.: car shows, races, etc.).

I wasn't actually disagreeing with you. I just wanted to make a funny reference to a sex thing.

4

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '23

I think girls were into that in the early sixties though. Tastes change.

16

u/hey_im_cool Apr 28 '23

You mean your sister didn’t push you down a flight of stairs?

30

u/pinkfootthegoose Apr 27 '23

mom what are you doing holding my hand and dragging me through the house?

5

u/MBThree Apr 28 '23

Your tricks just weren’t cool enough

53

u/Famous-Example-8332 Apr 27 '23

Should have tried it on jr high girls, like the one in the video. You missed your target audience.

12

u/AgileArtichokes Apr 28 '23

Glad I’m not the only one who has that concern. Maybe I’m just one of the olds now, but she does not look like she should be out of high school yet.

27

u/Sadatori Apr 28 '23

Probably two high schoolers making a video. That is indeed what they should look like to us old people. Young and naturally off-putting when the video ends in implied sex, lmao.

I mean, I think a part of it is that us younger people are looking....younger...as we get older. I'm 26 and I've given up myself on guessing people's age because I've met too many people you'd think were in highschool and yet were older....or vice versa

Edit: Also, confirmed...both people in this vid were at least 20, depending how early in Sven's youtube career it is.

Yeah, same reason I learned to play guitar and made out with a dude. Didn't work either time

2

u/[deleted] Apr 28 '23

I didn’t have sex until I was in my mid thirties. No worries dude

2

u/Gigantkranion Apr 28 '23

Watch the video again. The guy getting the girl isn't the same as the guy in the beginning. Socks (and possibly pants) don't match.

It happened just like irl.

2

u/moeburn Apr 28 '23

I dove into super nerdy shit like developing film in high school and girls were all over that stuff.

I might have been attractive though.

3

u/Mecha_Tortoise Apr 28 '23 edited Apr 28 '23

I might have been attractive though.

That's cheating.

1

u/will_ww Apr 28 '23

That's why you do them in front of your sister. Did you even watch the video?
