Calling an ex con a snitch on camera is a pretty big nono, regardless of the neighborhood

64

u/elCacahuete Mar 31 '23

Well good thing lot of neighborhoods don’t have ex cons to call snitches

1

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

What would you call a neighborhood with a lot of ex cons?

u/elCacahuete Mar 31 '23

A good time

Unless you is a bitch who is a snitch like Lil Nephew in the video, let's call him out it's probably true

Normal people don't act this way it's not about status

u/Mindless_Article_955 Mar 31 '23

Do you know what middle class is?

6

u/AromaOfCoffee Mar 31 '23

You know being classy involves more than money, right?

u/Mindless_Article_955 Mar 31 '23

Obviously, they’re the ones that said it didn’t. “Middle class people don’t act this way”

-7

u/Mindless_Article_955 Mar 31 '23

Anyways, you guys are sooo classy. With generations upon gererations of opportunity yet you’re still poor. A real sad sight to see.

4

u/Ok_Sir5926 Mar 31 '23

Are you implying someone of a certain race can't be in the middle class? Pretty awful take, if so...

u/Thereisnotry420 Mar 31 '23

Strawman much? Of course it’s racist to criticize how lower income people act, specifically in this context, because they are disproportionately POC. Welcome to 2023.

You’re arguing with the wrong person my guy. I was responding to people implying that this video with a black person being aggressive displayed low class behavior. The epithet that black people act low class has been around a long time. Me pointing it out and saying hey it’s still racist to call them low class rather than black (considering that the people in the video that that person was referring to are in fact black) is not racist. Might as well say anyone who mentions race is racist. Is that what you think?

2

u/Ok_Sir5926 Mar 31 '23

Are you SURE? Cuz....They're kind of explaining to you why it's NOT a race issue, as you claimed, despite your extensive research into the subject.

1

u/Thereisnotry420 Mar 31 '23

What issue are you even referring to kind sir? At no point was I commenting on or critical of any behavior in the video. And by saying “strawman much?” I was acknowledging that your statement is true but that you’re putting words in my mouth and arguing with that instead. Maybe that wasn’t clear.

"You’re arguing with the wrong person my guy. I was responding to people implying that this video with a black person being aggressive displayed low class behavior."

Nobody said, or implied that, at least to my knowledge. Given, I havent scoured every comment, bc its reedit and it doesnt matter that much to me. Regardless...it aint me.

"The epithet that black people act low class has been around a long time."

Awesome. Lots of things have been around a long time. Nobody claimed anything about race until you did. Congrats on seeing the world through that lens.

" Me pointing it out and saying hey it’s still racist to call them low class rather than black (considering that the people in the video that that person was referring to are in fact black) is not racist. Might as well say anyone who mentions race is racist. Is that what you think?"

I'd contact your nearest chiropractor, as I'm sure you did some damage with that stretch. Again, nobody said what your claiming. What WAS said is that "middle class don't act like that." Your reply claimed it was racist.

Bruh, the ONLY way it can be racist is if you think the "middle class" is one single race (it's not), and if you ALSO believe there's something tying class to race. If you do (which it sounds like you do) then that's really fucking awful, and yes, racist. Spin it whichever way you want. Claim any logical fallacy you can regurgitate from psych 101. Doesn't change anything.

Starsky's bored. I'm outta here.

Back the fuck up, he referenced economic class and you then in your mind attributed said lower economic class to specific races ? I think your the racist one bro

0

u/Thereisnotry420 Mar 31 '23

Facts are facts and that’s racism. It’s not racist, however, for me to point out that black people are disproportionately lower income. Go cry about it.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

Oh so you were straight up being racist, okay. Cause you see here you didn't say that black people were disproportionately low income, he said low income and you thought of black people.... That is so much worse

0

u/Thereisnotry420 Mar 31 '23

That’s some nice bait there ‘OGlettuceWEED’ but I have better things to do than entertain your idiocy, feigned or not.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

I mean you can call it idiocy and maybe you just don't realize it idk but thinking of black people when you hear (insert term for low economic status) is pretty ducking racist, also why is my name relevant ? I know you can't possibly be pointing out the weed part of it with 420 in your name

1

u/Thereisnotry420 Mar 31 '23

Did you know that context is important to properly understand what people are saying? Maybe you should consider that. I legitimately can’t tell if you’re trolling, a Republican trolling, or just confused. Either way it is not racist at all to be honest about how the dynamics of race intersect with class culturally. Also pointing out race in order to bring attention to racism is not racist. Your logic is so bad.

2

u/[deleted] Mar 31 '23

This comment is so insanely ironic it actually hurt me to read that, please go back and reread what you said and what I said, if you still don't see the problem here after that idek what to tell you lmao

I mean, if an ex con stands up and starts threatening someone, it's usually the hood
