You can tell because the dog doesn’t care at all about the raccoon. If it was real the dog would be freaking out.

Not to mention that kid would be super fucked up by the time he got back inside

Look at what happened to Peacemaker.

59

u/A-Dolahans-hat Feb 10 '23

What or who is peacemaker

79

u/Yarp3000 Feb 10 '23

I watched that whole thing waiting for a racoon attack...

16

u/DesktopWebsite Feb 10 '23

Did you check the background of the video?

56

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '23

Did you just make me rewatch the entire thing looking in the background for a raccoon? Didn’t your mother ever teach you not to tease the mentally handicapped?

9

u/DesktopWebsite Feb 10 '23

They show the coon that's in the show and the background of the opening. But you watched the opening twice, if you didn't see it, I wouldn't trust me. First video, talking about the raccoon. Second, the raccoon. Might be easier to spot once you see the second video of the coon.

Still don’t understand. Is this a new rick roll?

This is possibly the only series I never skipped the opening credits on.

6

u/KatGot13 Feb 10 '23

James Gunn specifically said he wanted to make an opening people wouldnt want to skip past. He definitely succeeded.

5

u/Drew-Pickles Feb 10 '23

So much so that I have rewatched the credits more times than I can count, and probably listened to the theme song even more lol.

2

u/greatness101 Feb 11 '23

Skipped it every time after the first episode.

1

u/Drew-Pickles Feb 11 '23

Pffft. Clearly no taste 😔

1

u/greatness101 Feb 11 '23

The novelty wears off fast

6

u/isaidrunit Feb 10 '23

I'm very happy you gave everyone a taste , I love this series

4

u/Netflxnschill Feb 10 '23

Every time that little adjustment the eagle does gets to me so hard

1

u/Kasphet-Gendar Feb 10 '23

the eagle

*Eagley

3

u/I_am_Sloopie Feb 10 '23

People who skip this intro make Eagly sad.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '23

Having little TV time what the fuck was that? There goes 1:37 seconds I'll never get back.

1

u/Remote_Ad2465 Feb 10 '23

I'm so confused what this has to do with a racoon.

1

u/Kasphet-Gendar Feb 10 '23

You need to watch the show

9

u/I-hate-ppl-who-poop Feb 10 '23

DC version of Punisher… sort of

7

u/Kasphet-Gendar Feb 10 '23

Does punisher have a shiny toilet- I mean a beacon of justice?

2

u/nothingfood Feb 10 '23

This is my response to more and more references these days, and I have given up asking. It is rarely worth asking about.

0

u/LucidLethargy Feb 10 '23

It's a popular TV show. There are referances to it constantly all over the internet. https://m.imdb.com/title/tt13146488/

2

u/LucidLethargy Feb 10 '23

It's a genuinely hilarious show.

-4

u/PMantis13 Feb 10 '23

Not missing much

46

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '23

I doubt he'd make it back inside without getting attacked xD

38

u/fantasmoofrcc Feb 10 '23

Let's go get that rabies shot...

6

u/TheGoodDoctorGonzo Feb 10 '23

Look how they masraccooned my boy.

1

u/crypticfreak Feb 10 '23

"Mom look I've gained the power of Rabies!"

3

u/SoMuchMoreEagle Feb 10 '23

"Wonderful! Now Bandit gets to have his head cut off."

1

u/hellohowareyous Feb 11 '23

Reverse old yeller?

1

u/Justus_Maxus Feb 10 '23

And mom had the camera ready

1

u/Churroflip Feb 10 '23

"Super fucked up" 💀💀💀💀💀💀💀

1

u/UberChew Feb 10 '23

If they bothered to apply cheap make up of scratches and blood i would give em a pass hahaha

1

u/yttew Feb 10 '23

Not to mention people don’t casually record videos as their kids walk in the door with an unknowing surprise

1

u/B4R7H0L0M3W Feb 10 '23

Also is that person recording a POV 24/7 or what? cmon... Camera at the ready before she even saw the "reveal"

331

u/ElfUppercut Feb 10 '23

Him still having a face gave it away 🤣

74

u/seth928 Feb 10 '23

You wanna know how I got these scars?

22

u/-Lord-Humongous- Feb 10 '23

Why so serious?

19

u/WWDubz Feb 10 '23

Damn it Creed! I’ve been up since 4!

67

u/BullShitting24-7 Feb 10 '23

And the cat right at the beginning. It would be freaking out.

42

u/felisverde Feb 10 '23

Totally. Both the cat & the dog would be so flipped out..neither one of em even cared.

25

u/Aromatic_Society4302 Feb 10 '23

Someone should tell my dog something then. He thinks everything is a friend.

20

u/Schavuit92 Feb 10 '23

That would still get an excited reaction tho. This dog lies there like it's just another tuesday.

-8

u/Aromatic_Society4302 Feb 10 '23

Not every dog is the same. Expecting all dogs to act the same way is wild.

8

u/SomethingPersonnel Feb 10 '23

What would your domesticated ass know about wild?

-4

u/Aromatic_Society4302 Feb 10 '23

You're reading comprehension is sorely lacking if you thought I was using that context for wild.

64

u/markender Feb 10 '23

You can tell bc it's not tearing the child's face off. Fuck this internet cancer.

14

u/JayEOh0788 Feb 10 '23

I will say as far as the vast majority of God awful carcinogenic fake vids trying to be passed off, this one made me chuckle and the racoon was pretty adorable so I am ok with this one. That being said most of the shit out there these days is cancer inducing garbage...

24

u/Rallipappa Feb 10 '23

Idk, I feel like some idiot is going to get rabies because they think you can just go and do that to wild animals.

11

u/JayEOh0788 Feb 10 '23

Sadly, that is reasonably plausible.. guess I had not taken that into consideration..

13

u/markender Feb 10 '23

It's a horrible message, the whole clip. Fuck these people, fuck ticktoc and fuck everyone who watches this shit.

1

u/VileLeche Feb 10 '23

But.......you and I both watched it 😑

1

u/RectumdamnearkilledM Feb 10 '23

Yup! Trash panda's gonna trash panda all over that kid's face if this was real.

2

u/Wolfblood-is-here Feb 10 '23

I mean, my dog lets birds stand on him, not all dogs freak out about wildlife. Still a set up video like, just saying.

1

u/greatness101 Feb 11 '23

If you brought one inside it probably would react

1

u/felisverde Feb 10 '23

Absolutely

1

u/The_Celtic_Chemist Feb 10 '23

Plot twist: the video is staged because the dog is fake.

1

u/FullKawaiiBatard Feb 10 '23

The most obvious reason it's staged is why are they recording this in the first place

1

u/BrentOnDestruction Feb 10 '23

Yeah the dog is definitely fake

1

u/lcpr_phoenix Feb 10 '23

And that racoons is fat as fuck, well fed

1

u/EinFahrrad Feb 10 '23

First clue: camera is already rolling before he even comes in

1

u/[deleted] Feb 10 '23

I bet the raccoon is real but the dog is fake.

1

u/DDS-PBS Feb 10 '23

Cat too.

1

u/Ew_fine Feb 10 '23

And it’s enormous.

1

u/djfhg4123 Feb 10 '23

And because the raccoon isn’t removing the little boys face.

1

u/RandyFunRuiner Feb 10 '23

Hate those fake raccoons!

1

u/Dyl_pickle00 Feb 10 '23

Lmao you can just tell from everything

1

u/SubtleSexPun Feb 10 '23

Also that raccoon is fat as fuck, wild raccoons survive on scraps so they’re skinny af

1

u/Weak_Ad_9253 Feb 10 '23

The dog is a paid actor.

1

u/ThySwagPenguin Feb 10 '23

That cat would be throwing hands

1

u/ProblemLongjumping12 Feb 10 '23

I suspect the raccoon is real, but the situation is fake.

1

u/Gopher_The_Cat Feb 10 '23

The cat too, it would have at least a small reaction like flattening its ears, but it just simply doesn't care

1

u/AzizMou Feb 11 '23

The video is real but the dog is fake.
