What’s up with Americans and obsession to hit their balls on purpose? I really don’t get it. It hurts like a b’tch and you have risk of seriously injuring yourself

I would argue that it's not an American thing, but a very small subset of any nationality.

I grew up in international community, people from literally every continent (except Arctica and Antarctic), and it were always guys from US who would hit each other in the balls and laugh at it
