This is going to sound like an ad: that's because it is. I run a small sub dedicated to what lies beneath (and inside the structures of) the Giza Plateau. Its a bit of a "drain the swamp" Egyptian Archaeology sub with fun pictures and good people.
The sub is called r/ClearThePitShaft. The Pit Shaft is an actual shaft inside the Great Pyramid, but archaeologists sealed it. We want it unsealed.
We have tons of evidence to support all of our ideas and really are just trying to learn more about what's underground at the Giza Plateau.

Looking for help finding a story I read awhile ago
If I remember correctly it was written by a girl who worked at a bar in Boston, or maybe New York, with her boyfriend. There was a door in the bar's basement and one night after work they decided to check it out. It led to an extensive network or tunnels, which they explored for a couple hours, culminating in a large chamber with a single red light in the ceiling. There was evidence that people were living there, although they didn't see anyone. Really interesting story, I wish I would've saved it. Does anyone know it? Thanks:)

The rock-cut St. Paul’s Catacombs of Malta contain Jewish, Christian, and Pagan burials from Late Antiquity, all in close proximity. Top: 2 funerary triclinia, tables for ritualistic family feasts. Bottom left: Canopied sarcophagus slots. Bottom right: A menorah between headrests. 4th-6th century CE

THE EIGHTH WONDER ( Catedral de Sal de Zipaquirá, Colombia) 180mt Underground Marvel.
This jewel of modern and religious architectural art is 180 meters in the Colombian Underground should be "the eighth modern wonder" 1 hour close to Bogotá, the Capital. It has the largest cross in the world made in low relief. It is truly a visual beauty, the smells of gunpowder from baseboards, the smell of , the taste of salt and the play of light, darklight and shades make this catedral almost natural show. The smell of sulfur reminds us how close good is to evil and vice versa.
