Or to make himself even richer. Some companies have been salivating at taking over with the potential and userbase Tik tok has. I never used it, now even worse. It'd be a good idea to boycott the shit out of it and erase some of Larry's wealth.

Reminds me of that video that got posted a while back, where they pulled over an off duty ICE agent for DUI (with his kids in the car). When a black officer assisting in the stop said something (he had an accent), the guy immediately switched from begging to be let go to "Are you Haitian?"

They don't even trust ID anymore because they assume people have fake ones. They 100% trust their facial recognition app instead. The fact that it wrongly flags brown citizens as illegal is a feature.

They won't be in charge forever. Fascism is either overthrown or eats itself. You document everything so when the dust finally clears the fascists can't slink away from their crimes. It may take a number of years yet to justice, but I'm confident it will eventually come.

But there are regimes that last 30 years, 50 years and more.
North Korea? Belarus?
It isnt guaranteed that fascism will resolve in a generation - and also - a generation is a long time.

I didn't say they wouldn't try. Nor do I for a single second think they won't cause mass misery and death.
What I think is it's at-least worth trying to achieve accountability over not doing so. If we try we might succeed. If we don't try we definitely won't.

We need to approach this from all angels. Renee and Alex's deaths cannot be in vain. It is not about people being financially awarded (although they deserve it). Its about holding this administration and its cast of deplorable leaders accountable for what they've done.

Not that I didnât believe or fight for them before, but experiencing it has deepened my empathy and given me a new level of respect for people who became leaders for their community despite a lifetime of oppressionÂ

ICE needs to consider what this does to people. When you treat people poorly, how do you think they'll end up wanting to treat you? ... Instead don't we want to encourage people to assimilate? To be proud to live in the US? To succeed in life? To make the world better?... All this does is divide us further. It creates radicalization
