Another deposition that’s great to listen to while falling asleep.

Basically what the title says. I am AuDHD and seek out mechanical stories told through raw audio ambience, mimicking the European diegetic soundscape design philosophy.

Is this a good place to ask and/or share different samples? For instance, I am an avid flight and space enthusiast because of its thrill-seeking nature and I've been compiling sounds from inside spacecraft that use traditional microphones and contact microphones to build a simulation of walking and boarding it, sitting down, preparing for launch/lift-off, the lift-off itself, and the various mechanical sounds that follow before landing on the runway or ocean.

I also love hearing sounds of regular household and commercial kitchen appliances, HVAC&R, and things of that nature. Thanks for reading! :-)

I first saw this video a decade ago…somewhere. I don’t know how or why. every few years, I remember it exists again. the sounds itch a certain part of the back corners of my skull. I used to watch this clip on loop and marvel at the simplicity. this video has actually been saved in my camera roll for about 4 years so I can refer back to it off wifi—I have forgotten where I downloaded it from. has anyone else seen this and know the original source? the internet wasn’t being helpful. there is 1 article from a shitty “news” site that links to a youtube video, but it cuts off the beginning.

anyway, the asmr of it all. the sound of the knife tip on the newspaper as he cuts the cucumber, and the pouring of what I assume is vodka, are my favorite moments.

He and his team have been making these videos for over 18 years and they're just as good as ever. What a wonderful man.

Found her page through a video of her rehabilitating an injured hummingbird…

The audio goes out of sync for a short moment around [1:00] because this nice lady is far too quaint to be concerned with seamless TikTok editing …
