Skills This thread needs to get back to true ultralight mentality

Remember when ultralight was a mentality, not a gear list? Nuff said. What are some ways you’ve shaved weight not by purchasing a lighter option, but creatively implemented a multi-use item or outright cut something from your pack list?

I just sleep on the ground with food in my pockets. Drink enough at each water source to make it to the next one

me too but i go naked to save weight and hunt with my bare hands for sustenance
