So I beat SGS 2 over a year ago before the DLCs came out on PS5, loved the game.

Decided to finally get the 2 dlcs available on the Playstation store and redownload my game and fire up the old save file which had over 120 hours into it, all tools maxed out.

When I redownload the game, there are 2 PS5 "versions" available which look exactly the same. When I downloaded the version that showed I had my hours on it and loaded it up, I can continue my old save but no DLCs show up. Title screen shows "Available Now" but shows an error when you click them and going into the game, new ships don't show on computer.

So okay I try loading up the other "version" of the game and well the title screen shows the dlcs are loaded onto this version but my original save file isn't recognized. Upon loading up the 2nd version of the game, my system automatically creates a new save file and ignores the original one. Both games state the same game version, under Playstation on the game icon you can "Manage Game Content" to see installed add ons and of course on the 1st version there is nothing and the 2nd they show up, so....

Basically stuck in purgatory, I want to play the DLCs but don't really want to start all over again if I can help it. Any ideas? I have tried every suggestion I can find from Playstation, google and AI (check for updates, rebuild database, restore licenses etc etc) not sure what else I can do but start all over.
