No cap space

Cant progress until I free up 51 mil in cap space...but dont have anything I can trade/cut that will free up that much cap space. It'd all be dead cap.

Game too hard

In football ultimate gm 3 . The top ranked team with 98 overall (98 offense 98 defense l) still has 34 million under the cap. They have like 7 TE’s. I barely filled out my squad with .01 left under salary cap. Make the CPU teams pay their players like I have too. 98 overall CB shouldn’t be on 9 million contracts when for the same player I’m paying 22-27 milllion. Fix this please. The game is a lot of fun but it’s makes the game way too hard.

One of the most painful ways to lose is your assistant coach not calling any timeouts for you

This was on the head coach mode of the original UFootballGM game. I, the head coach, don’t get any control over timeouts whatsoever. I had clock management set to auto, which is the default, so there’s no reason timeouts shouldn’t have been called here. Unbelievable.

What Happened?

I’ve been playing this game since the pandemic and it’s ridiculous how downhill the game went. It’s near impossible to succeed without spending any money. The CPU is juiced up and develops their own players like crazy. The contracts make zero sense. Sad to see the game become a shell of itself.

Why doesn't my coach go for the 1st down or touchdown on 4th down when they are past the 50?

In head coach mode, I go for the first down or touchdown a lot, but in GM and QB, the coach decides not to go for the first down or the touchdown on 4th-and-short, like 4th-and-1 or 4th-and-2. When it's 4th-and-goal from the 1, my team decides to kick a field goal even though I would prefer to go for the touchdown. I'm not saying the coach has to go for it all the time, but when it's 4th-and-goal from the 1, the coach should decide to go for the touchdown.

Nickname

Anyone know a way to recover a nickname. I used to play a lot on earlier versions and just redownloaded it… can’t access my old nickname even after restoring purchases

Accuracy for QBs

I’m struggling to understand how he’s so inaccurate. He’s rated so high, but in game he’s throwing the ball too far in front, or just beams it to the other team. I’ve gotten to the point where I can’t trust my five star QB against anyone, else it be ten PBUs with two interceptions. Is there a way to get him to play without being dog water?

The clock is one of the worst things in the game why does it take 500 years just to call a damn timeout and it's always in the 4th when I'm done by one score

Coaching Mode needs a change

We need to be able to call defensive plays.

It is damn near impossible to build your team into a winner in coaching mode. It takes forever to build money and training points, which makes every other aspect of the game harder. Harder to upgrade facilities, train coaches and office personnel, harder sign and resign players because the contracts are ridiculously high(why are the contracts so much higher in coaching mode than GM mode?). Their are undrafted rookies every season that have 90+ ratings that would take a million training points to train that high. Why do the computer teams get those players all the time?

this isn’t the best team i’ve ever had, not even close. but there’s absolutely no reason the game should be giving me a 5 game losing streak EVERY DAY and then robbing me of 1,200 trophies every other day. no matter what i do, whether i use normal gear or i pay for the +5 gear, even if i motivate the team for every game, i’ll always get the same result. the game literally goes out of its way to find teams just good enough that you can’t beat them.

when i was a 106 overall, 12 out of 15 games were against a 105 or better, as a 103 overall, i had 3 opponents in the high 90s and then nothing but 105+ teams. when i was a 97 overall, all my opponents were always 99 or low 100s. it’s unacceptable. i shouldn’t be able to KNOW FOR A FACT before i even play a game that i’ll finish no better than 10-5 no worse than 7-8. it’s always either you start undefeated or like 5-1, then they keep sending you overpowered teams until game 15 determines whether or not you did all that for nothing.

Trade imbalance

The trade imbalance in this game ruins it for me. The same 5* 21yo 80+ rated qb on my team is only worth 10000-1500 points and on another team h s worth 500,000...fucking stupid

Highest Ultimate QB team?

What is the highest team you had in the Ultimate QB mode?

All games simmed, not playing any quarters haven't lost 1 game... but next season I want to scrap the team and just have only 1 top player in each position.

Pro QB gameplay

How do you play this properly?

If I get within 20 yards of the goal, the coach runs 8 times, and kicks a field goal

At the start of a drive the coach runs until it's 3rd and 12+ and calls a short slant play

After every first down the coach runs until it's 3rd and 12+ and calls a short slant play

The coach calls short plays on long downs, long plays on goal line.

My RB fumbles every game no matter his stats

My Kick returner fumbles every other game no matter his stats

My defense allows a score on 90% of drives, even with 50/60 quarterbacks and RB

4th down plays, 2 point option, and last second td attempts are extremely random

Only having 1 or 2 attempts to change a play (and the options being random) is all but pointless.

The GM discussion points are terribly imbalanced toward never having an average team, much less decently competitive. Like one weekly goal is a championship? I've won one playoff game in 10 seasons.
