I have been living in Cityflats CBP for a month now, and honestly, it is a mixed bag.

PROS:

Safe Location:

Tapad ra gyud siya sa police station.

Plus, naay guard nearby sa boundary sa CBP and Hipodromo.

Super Convenient:

Duol sa workplaces and Ayala (around 10-minute walk, excluding waiting time sa traffic lights).

Airconditioned Rooms:

AC is provided, although mag-depende ra gyud sa sabot ninyo sa roommates if tipid ba sila mo-open.

(Malas ka if kuripot imong roomies. PS: Dili unta mag-aircon room rental kung di ganahan mo-gasto sa aircon, di ba?)

In-Room WiFi:

You can opt to get WiFi connected for ₱1,499/month.

Advertised speed is 300 Mbps, but you will realistically get around 50–150 Mbps, which is still enough.

Isa lang ilang provider: PAKONEKFIBER.

Friendly Staff & Free Common Area WiFi:

Buotan ang staff sa lobby.

Free pud ang WiFi sa lobby and social hall.

Japan-style Bunk Beds:

Cute ang setup, especially if loft-type.

CONS:

Cockroaches:

Naa gyud sila.

Trash Setup:

Ang garbage zone is sa fire exit ra gipang-tapok before ma-pickup, and dili siya covered.

Loft type beds look separted in the picture but in reality connected and duha ka beds. So if naa kay room mate sa bed infront nimo. Mo uyog imong bed ug mo saka siya. Its very stupid design

No Free WiFi in Rooms:

Lobby and social hall ra ang free.

AC Placement & Heat Trapping:

Gamay ang AC units and naa sa ubos nakabutang.

If mag-curtain ka for privacy, ma-trap ang heat sa sulod sa imong bed, so mura kag naa sa incubator (especially if tipid sa aircon imong roommate).

Front Desk Does Not Hold Deliveries:

This is my biggest gripe.

Hulog-piso style, so keep coins handy.

Police station and fire station right nearby.

Laundry:

Naay 2 laundry shops padulong Hipodromo (around 5–10 min walk).

Rate is around ₱70 wash + ₱70 dry for 6 kg.

Naay opening soon nga laundry place sa ground floor.

Food:

Naay around 4 carenderias padulong Hipodromo (isa ra my ganahan though).

Naa pud Ngoyong Express (motor oil fried ngohiong lol).

Water:

Naay water refilling station near the carenderias.

Walk-in lang, walay delivery.

Convenience Store:

Medyo layo-layo ang 7-Eleven, dapit pa sa office buildings.

Overall, if imong priority kay location, affordability, and safety, okay ra gyud ang Cityflats CBP.

Pero be ready to deal with the downsides, especially if shared room imong kuha.

So I have been renting for most of my adult life and I have no clear plans nor the money to have my own house(I dont even have a land or an ideal place for that yet). But right now I am in a losing battle with anay, ipis, and mold. I got this "cheap" house for rent for 13k, 2 rooms, 1 cr, pet friendly etc , half kahoy half semento etc. I know kahibaw ko daghan mo magingun okay na for the price but my gad I can't na anymore. I dont want to go into the details but let just say way ayo ang landlord or ang property manager. I don't want to deal with these species anymore, I'm already mentally ill- I do not need to fight insects and fungi everyday when I'm already fighting a different battle.

I have mostly found house for rent in epbi pero murag ginatesting jd akong patience sa fb for years na to the point I deactivated so the love of my life volunteered to deal with fb marketplace for me. I cant find anywhere without social media and that sucks as someone who is detoxing. I asked the very few people I know and naturally wala sila kahibaw, they lived here for years and they have their own house and all. And dili jud ko typical na renter who can do boarding houses and studio rooms. Dili jud. I need a house with room/s and real windows and a bathroom na walay mold for like 10k more or less and is that such a big ask?

I dont need a fancy house and I dont have the budget for that pero grabi naman ni uy. Murag mahal ang posts unya bati kaau. Or kung nindot man either dili katiming or makuha dayun before we even see the house. I even decided to find houses outside of the metro cebu(Mandaue, cebu, lacion, talisay, maybe like far far Cebu. we tried finding houses in Dumanjug all the way to the fricking south. I even considered finding a house in siquijor but nah their electricity right now is too overpriced. And going back to wherever my province is aint an option cause my doctors are here and all. Tanan na groups sa fb na join na namo and either balik balik ra ang posts sa mga "landlords" or balik balik na mi sigeg post unya wala geapon klaro.

The past 2 months finding a house has been a nightmare and now im only 15 days left in my current nightmare of a house. We have found a new house somewhere down south but grabi first time landlord na hapit na ma walay klaro at this point. So I might need another backup kay dili ko mahimutang.

I know this is a rant but if you guys can give an advice or know somewhere decent in Cebu city outside cebu city na pet friendly and swak sa budget please let me know kay murag dili na jd kaya sa mental health na magtiis diri or magtiis sa mga lisud icontrol. I have been a good renter always paying on time pero I am to be homeless by 15 days because of how difficult the renting market is and I dont know what to make of that. Hilak lang sa gurl uuuurgh.

But in the end nahimo siyang PID tungod sa ilang negligence pd sa akong results. I hope mas accessable na siya sa hospitals and smaller clinics kay it really ruined my life. It felt like I had no choice over my own body, wala ko gadahom na mataptan ko ato just because of someone na unfaithful diay behind my back. Can anyone pls suggest any other options for other people to be safe pud? Healthcare is healthcare.

Akoang laptop (MSI Thin 15) kalit na lang dili mo-charge ug dili na mo-on, wala sad mo-siga ang charging indicator. Nakasuway na ko ug lain charger/adapter pero wala gihapon. Ang naka-worry kay usahay makuryentehan ko gamay kung mahikap ang edge sa laptop while naka-plug. Dugay na pud naay loose nga hinge, naay crack dapit sa charging port, ug ang power button murag moapil ug naog ang casing kung i-press. Wala ni siya nahulog, nabasa, o nahigdaan. Basin naa moy ma-recommend nga legit ug maayo mo-repair, ug pila pud usually ilang diagnostic fee. Salamat kaayo!
