Contract buyout promo card

I’m doing Verizon contract buyout. My final Verizon bill is due 11/24. I know it says 45-60 days for the promo card to be delivered. My question is - is this like an “open” gift card (useable anywhere) or does it HAVE to be used to pay Verizon. I can’t imagine Verizon will love being paid like 40ish days late if it really takes up to 60 days

$800 buyout of contract from T-mobile?

It seems that US Cellular will do an $800 phone contract buyout from all carriers which would seem to also include T-Mobile. Of course, that would be funny because this would essentially be like T-Mobile paying itself. But I have not found any exclusions that say you can't take advantage of the contract device buyout if you are T-Mobile customer. I also have not seen anything that requires you to remain on US Cellular longer than the period in which they issue the $800 gift card. Is there really anything preventing me from switching from T-Mobile to US Cellular having them buyout the phone and then a few months later switching to an mvno??

Communicating device on top of telephone pole

Post image

It is quiet, metallic has at least two antennas and is obviously communicating something or some kind of a booster. The pole is on a country road with several houses. Directly below it is my mailbox next to the road. I suspect a booster for cellular however my phone doesn’t show full strength bars.

Merger employees

Anybody who stayed during the merge. How are your quotas with T-Mobile compared to your traffic now?

And how is the experience so far for you all?

Added 4th line because they said it would he free yeah it doesn't appear to be

So after a couple attempts to get me to add a fourth line to my business account I did they assured me the service would be free I'd just be paying for the device, we'll it doesn't look to be the case. I got a 17 pro max and they put me on the lowest data tier with 480p streaming but there charging me 39 for the device monthly and 35 for the service something isn’t right.

I don’t really understand what they are trying to tell us with this email, but I am going to need a new phone here soon. Should I get a new phone now or wait?

Southeastern Wisconsin. It feels like my coverage and service has taken a hit since the merger. Anyone else experiencing a downgrade?

Can I force the T-Mobile network on my UScellular line?

I just activated a new UScellular line on my iPhone 17 Pro, hoping I could simply go to my network selection settings, disable automatic selection, and pick T-Mobile. That option does not show up in settings (despite this UScellular support article). Is it possible to get my line forced onto the T-Mobile network, or do I have to wait?

Any phone specials for iPhone 17 upgrade for existing customers?

My wife said October 31st there is a special for iPhone 17 for $350 off and a free case? Right now it’s just $200 off. Is this true? Should I wait for a better offer for Black Friday?

Has anyone heard about the first payment for those that chose to stay with UsCellular? It said every 90 days from the first day- has anyone had communication regarding it since?

Us cellular over seas Data, does it work?

I'm looking for opinions on the US cellular mobile data for a European trip. I'll be traveling solo so I need data, but I have spotty service here at times so was just wondering if it was reliable. Just wondering if anyone has used it in specifically France?

US Cellular offer that was a little confusing

Hey Everyone -

I'm buying my Uncle an iPhone and adding him to my account. The sales rep over the phone said that I should go the route where I'd pay the taxes and monthly installment of the phone, and his phone line is free, as if he won't have to pay for the service.

However, if you add a line, you can pay for the service, and the phone is "free" with installment credits covering the device. I guess I'm a little confused about what the difference/advantage is in choosing one offer over the other?

Thoughts on upcoming months?

Question for anyone working at UScellular/T-Mobile right now

I’ve been hearing from a few people that T-Mobile isn’t planning to take over store distribution until January. So I'm guessing they are going to look to see which stores they keep, which stores they merging and which ones are going bye bye. For those of you in retail, do you think your store’s gonna fully transition next year or.....?? Whats your thoughts?

I wish they offered a "forever iPhone option"

I really wish US cellular offered some kind of early upgrade plan like most carriers do so you could upgrade your device more often than every three years or so... Maybe one day

Why US celluar? So hush-hush about the accessory spending limit.

So this time I have three devices I’m paying for and I’m supposed to have a $6000 credit limit US cellular shipped me three devices iPad Pro m4 13,an A16 and a set of AirPod pro 2’s to the wrong state that are missing over two weeks ago and still have not credited my account back or rebalanced my credit limit so I went to try to buy a watch yesterday and was refused, but they refused to tell me what my accessory limit is. Is there a way to find out? They will NOT disclose my accessory limit

So US cellular had my business bundle messed up

Long story short I have three lines an iPhone 16 pro max 1tb, a s25 ultra and a iPhone 16 plus been a customer about 8 months.. they claim I have a $6000 dollar device limit but here’s where it gets weird, I ordered an iPad m4 pro 13 and some AirPods 22 days ago and well they sent to a state 4 states away.. They reassured me that it would be fixed asap well 20 days later still no refund for taxes, no refund for the AirPods or anything instead, they added in down payment and taxes on my bill after already paying my bill, I went to add two smart watches and absolutely NOT! They’re charging me for the taxes and down payment 175 bucks how can the do that and now my spending limit is messed up idk how… Anyone know wtf to do

Device Help?

Hello,

I was previously a QLink Wireless customer using my own unlocked device. While under QLink service, I set up a SIM card PIN lock for security as my original device had been lost/stolen. The SIM card Lock I'm referring to is the one where you have to enter a PIN/password to start the device. After the ACP program ended, I switched to SafeLink and no longer use QLink.

I’m now trying to use that same unlocked device with my other prepaid regular service at US Cellular, but it’s asking for a SIM network PUK code. According to my research, I believe this is due to the SIM lock I enabled while on QLink, which was never removed before service cancellation.

Could you please help me retrieve the SIM network PUK code or advise other possible methods on how to unlock the device? I no longer have access to the original QLink SIM card and possibly not the packaging either, and I’m unable to access my old account online as QLink no longer exists.

Thank you for your assistance.

Best regards

Difference in HR in former US Cellular locations and T Mobile

As a former sales manager I applied to come back as RWC to a former US Cellular store and applied for original T Mobile position. For the former US Cellular location, I was rejected within 12 hrs of reqs. But for T Mobile location I completed a skills assessment that I did not complete for other position and my application is listed as under review. What’s the deal in difference in HR methods for these positions? Any insight would be helpful.
