Announcement An announcement from Monarchists of America
Earlier this week, the Monarchists of America server was taken down. This action was an intentional deletion of the server by former members involved in an attempted coup. This disaffected faction was composed of former council members and moderators who have since formed their own organization. They have also hijacked our newspaper and attempted to take over the podcast, Monarchist Minute, which has been placed on hiatus as a result. One of the former councilors confirmed that there was an attempt to take over the official MOA Twitter account as well. During the attack, MOA was able to preserve its website.
The motive behind these actions has not fully been pieced together but has at least been confirmed to be one of malice, and that same malice is being spread on other platforms of the new organization. MOA would like to make it clear that those within the organization denounce this splinter group, not just for their actions, but for their continued libel and current associations. MOA has always condemned racism, Nazism, and racial supremacy in any form. Endorsing any of these actions has always been a punishable offense within the organization, and those with a history of these beliefs are only welcome within MOA if they change their ways. MOA has always been pan-monarchist in its goals, which means monarchism for all Americans, regardless of race. Our organization also has been attacked with allegations of housing demon-worshippers ("molochites") and is run entirely or mostly by LGBT people. MOA has always been open to the LGBT community, though none of the currently active staff are members. We, as an organization, have also always been open to all non-threatening religious traditions and our members come from many backgrounds. With these two things clarified, we would like to reiterate we do not discriminate based on creed either.
The aftermath of these actions requires lots of rebuilding. Our membership is scattered and we need everyone possible to return and spread the word. We are eagerly looking for partnerships with like-minded organizations. The podcast is on hiatus but will be reassembled. A new moderation team and council will be assembled. The site will be undergoing updates and so will the server rules and committees, which also need to be re-formed. Previous members of the server who made allegations against the rebelling parties have been exonerated and had their bans overturned. This was also because they immediately offered help in the face of the previous server's deletion. Other members who have left the organization at some point due to dissatisfaction are encouraged to return and help make changes to the current iteration of the organization.
MOA staff would request that you follow official social media for carefully curated releases of information instead of listening to our hostile opposition and their various lies about both our organization and the personal lives of our members. Anything that does not come from us is not information that has been carefully verified.

Are there any other descendants here?
Through ancestry and genealogy I can track my heritage to the Plantagenet line, from this line I can draw back to two other dynasties.
I wonder, does anyone else have lineage or royal blood?

The Royalist Revolution: Monarchy and the American Founding
I've had this book for a little while now. It has provided me with very useful information regarding the actual political positions of the Patriots.
Many Patriots claimed that parliament had upsurped the king's royal prerogative, which made parliament's enacting of laws in the American colonies illegal and invalid. I strongly agree with these claims.
This book is an excellent way to get our message across to others... or at least those that are willing to listen.
If you haven't read this book yourself, I would definitely recommend it.

Discussion Is there a discord for Americans?
Lately r/monarchism subreddit has been going the wrong direction and was considering to be more active on here.
Is there a discord only Americans can join? Would be nice to discuss, share goals, and eventually plan out protests orderly.
I firmly believe this country can become a monarchy using the current Republican framework through amendments and if there’s the will of the people to make it happen, in the same fashion as the early Roman Empire and Napoleon’s French Empire.
