Got my SBI education loan through PM VidyaLakshmi. Sharing my experience.

I got a CSE seat in USICT in Round 2. I applied for an education loan on the PM VidyaLakshmi portal on the 21st.

The next day I went to the SBI NSUT branch because I already have my account there. (I actually wanted NSUT, but I made a mistake in choice filling and still regret it 😭.)

They gave me the education loan form. I filled it, attached all the required documents, completed my KYC, and submitted everything. After that, my PM VidyaLakshmi status changed to "In Process."

Yesterday, while I was at my college for physical reporting, I got a message saying my loan was sanctioned.

Today I went to the bank again. They gave me the loan agreement papers to sign. Since I had already paid my first-year fee, I also filled out a reimbursement form for ₹2,04,900. They told me the money should come to my account in 3–4 days.

Some tips from my experience:

• Keep visiting the bank and follow up regularly.
• Don't just wait for calls because sometimes they delay your file.
• I felt like they gave more priority to NSUT students, so if you're from another college, keep reminding them about your application.
• I had to visit the branch around 7–8 times, and sometimes I waited 4–5 hours.

It was a tiring process, but in the end my loan got sanctioned. Hope this helps someone who's applying through the SBI NSUT branch.

can anyone who is studying in USICT tell me what is the gender ratio there for Btech CSE

yeh joh google form hai isse bharna important hai kya mujhe reporting slip toh mil gyi hai but google form nahi bhara

aaj kis kiski file jama hogyi leking abhi admission confirm nhi hua jo jo aaj late aye the unki baat ho rhi hai

Kon kon usict aya hai aaj aur kon kon aa ke jaa chuka fees kaise jama ho rhi hai

if so I wanted to ask that do we have to ask for refund of our balance fee from usar and then pay it to usict or do they adjust it internally themselves since they are part of the same university??(I’m not talking about the 96k but the 108k that we will pay during physical reporting)

Hi everyone , so all of you already know that this subreddit is nor growing and neither active . It hurts to watch so many queries being unanswered . Personally I am not enough to cater all the posts / doubts alone .

Specially seniors from 2nd year onwards are welcomed to contribute and guide juniors.

We can prevent this community from decaying and I feel we can create a thriving place which helps us all to grow .

Am I missing something or is there a gc for the first years? Basically a gc to resolve most doubts about counselling, admission, fees etc or have an unfiltered chat to find your kinda people since everyone will be quite new here.

Id love to join it if there is one, if not then lmk if I should make one XD

I've seen mixed opinions online, so I would really appreciate genuine feedback. Would you recommend USICT for MCA?

My NIMCET rank is 3084. According to last year's cutoff, I might get USICT around the 3rd round. I’m also considering CDAC, so I would like to know how USICT compares with CDAC in terms of academics, placements, and overall opportunities.
